About This Project

The Training for Life charity was created to help young unemployed/homeless people transform their lives through learning to cook and serve food.
Lady Val Corbett of the Professional Women’s Network contacted Ilona to discuss giving the space on Hoxton Square a face lift.
The brief was to redesign and refurbish the entire ground floor bar and restaurant area.
Ilona took great care the design should not compromise the character but enhance the original features and atmosphere in this Grade 2 listed building which had once been a primary school.
The ILI team successfully completed the renovation in April 2011.
